Enjoy International Cuisine Near Lombard

There are plenty of restaurants near City View at the Highlands, ranging from fast food to upscale dining. This includes delicious international cuisine. Here are some of our favorite options for international cuisine near Lombard:

Kai SuShi

You’ve probably never ordered sushi from a conveyor belt, but that’s exactly what you do at Kai SuShi. Just watch the plates coming past your table on the “sushi-go-round” and take what you want. The different colors of the plates indicate the price. Of course, there’s a regular menu too. Create your own bento box, try authentic ramen, or even order hibachi style. There are great lunch specials and delicious desserts like the mochi ice cream.

Kai SuShi is open Monday through Thursday from 11:15 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. and 5-9:30 p.m.

Burrito Parrilla

There are nine locations of Burrito Parrilla in the Chicago area and one is just a five-minute walk from City View. You can enjoy authentic Mexican food Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m.; they offer dine-in, carry out, and delivery. If you order tacos, you’ll be able to choose from ground beef, shredded pork, grilled chicken, steak, or veggies, chorizo (Mexican sausage), lengua (beef tongue), or their famous marinated pork. Burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, salads, and tortas are also featured on the menu. For a sweet ending, order a yummy churro.

Buca di Beppo

Just on the other side of Highland Avenue, you’ll find Buca di Beppo which serves authentic Italian cuisine. A unique thing about Buca di Beppo is that they serve meals family-style, meaning portions are generous. A small serving feeds 3 people and a large feeds 5. The good news is that there are almost always leftovers to take home. Guests typically decide on 2 or 3 items and then everyone shares.

One of the best parts about Buca di Beppo is the atmosphere. The decor is eclectic and fun. There are two specialty tables in rooms that seat large parties. You can also reserve the Kitchen Table where you’ll be able to watch all of the cooking action. It’s a great place to celebrate a special occasion. Buca di Beppo opens at 11 a.m. daily. Monday through Thursday they close at 10 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays at 11 p.m., and Sundays at 9 p.m.
