The Tastiest Fried Chicken Near Lombard

Hands holding Fried chicken and eating in the restaurant

On a chilly evening, there’s nothing better than enjoying fried chicken with all of the trimmings. It’s one of America’s favorite comfort foods, and the recipe varies by region.  If this sounds good to you, visit one of the restaurants near City View at the Highlands where the chefs prepare the chicken to perfection. Here is some of our favorite fried chicken near Lombard:

Rock Bottom Brewery

At Rock Bottom, brewmaster Jim Wolfer keeps his brews clean and simple. He takes the term craft beer seriously, and to maintain maximum freshness, Jim never exposes them to light, heat, and oxygen. Visitors always receive fast, attentive service. For dinner, try the chicken fried chicken stack. It comes with country gravy, garlic green beans, and cheddar garlic mashed potatoes.

Empire Burger & Brew

Empire is a unique destination made up of two historic buildings. The restaurant maintains an old-world charm, complete with reclaimed wood and metalwork. Visitors also find the only retractable rooftop deck in the Chicago suburbs. It offers stunning year-round views of downtown Naperville’s skyline. While the restaurant is famous for its burgers, it also serves a delicious fried chicken sandwich. The Yardbird features romaine lettuce, dill salsa, and bourbon tomato jam.

Traverso’s Restaurant

When the Traverso brothers decided to open an eatery, Traverso’s restaurant was born. They use their mother’s time-honored Italian recipes and prepare them from the finest, freshest ingredients. The restaurant has been a Naperville fixture since 1993, and it’s where locals gather to spend a leisurely evening with friends. The hand-battered fried chicken served with veggies and your choice of a side is a customer favorite.
